These photographs come from a year on the move. They aren’t trying to explain.
They just look. A sky over West Texas. Two cowboys and a horse deal. A glass rabbit, twenty feet tall, catching light like a hallucination.
The artist is Puerto Rican, raised on the island. The mainland is familiar but never quite home. So everything gets translated. Landscapes. Gestures.
The way a place arranges itself. None of this asks for analysis. The images are impressions. A flicker. A pause. They belong in a bar, not behind glass. Just look. That’s enough.
